HOW TO MAKE SWEET
MANGO PICKLE
Ingredients:
Raw Mango – 2
Chili powder -1/4 tsp
Salt -1/4 tsp
Jaggery Powder – 1 cup
Seasoning:
Oil – 2tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Mustard seeds – 1tsp
Urad dal – 2 tsp
Fenugreek – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – 10 nos
Method:
- Cut the mango in to small cubes and boil it idli boiler.
- In pan add the oil and add the seasoning ingredients (mustard seeds, urad dal, fenugreek and curry leaves).
- Add the chili powder, salt and jaggery powder.
- Add 1/4 cup water and cover the lid. Let it cook for 5 mins.
- Now add the boiled mango cubes to the above prepared sauce.
- Cover the lid and let it cook in simmer for 15 mins to 30 mins. so that the mango will absorb the taste of the sauce.

ADD THE BOILED MANGO CUBES, COVER THE LID AND LET IT COOK IN SIMMER FOR 20 TO 30 MINS |
SWEET MANGO PICKLE IS READY |
